Valentine's Banquet
🎟️ Tickets will go on sale THIS Sunday, January 15 for $20.00 and can be purchased by cash or check. Entire tables are available for purchase, but we need to know who will be sitting at the table when you purchase the table (there are 8 seats at a table). As always, tickets are complimentary for widows and widowers, but you will need a ticket in order to attend this event.
🍥 There will be a Cake Auction again this year as well. So, start thinking about your best home-made cake to bring. And, when making bids for the auction, please keep in mind that this is an entirely youth-sponsored event. All proceeds will go to our Student Ministry in order to help offset the various costs of summer camp, mission trips, retreats, and scholarships for the hard workers.
💕 True to precedent, the tickets for our annual Valentine's Day Banquet have already sold out! We can't thank you enough for your enthusiastic support and we are greatly anticipating this event along with the rest of you. Not only is this a beautiful evening with great food and fellowship, it's also the single biggest fundraiser for our youth ministry that we have all year long.
🍥 Speaking of fundraising, the Cake Auction is a huge part of that effort. If you feel led or have any culinary skills whatsoever, we strongly encourage you to offer a cake (or some other similar confection) for this event, even if you don't plan on attending. The Lord works mysteriously during this time, prompting hearts to give far more than anticipated for these items, and none of it would be possible without the selfless service of those who donate a cake to the auction!
