This June 24 - July 1 Covenant will be partnering once again with Urban Promise Ministries of Nashville. Urban Promise is a ministry that targets refugee communities in the Nashville area, introducing them to the gospel while addressing the felt needs of living in a displaced community. Our goal is to conduct a VBS-style kids club for a community of African, South American, and Southeast Asian children. This will also be coordinated with a local church from the community who will remain for follow up.

The team will receive special training on the field for understand the plight of a refugee, as well as learning about world views and world religions. There might also be an opportunity to visit a Hindu or Buddhist temple while in the area.

We will be driving our church buses. This will require us to leave on Saturday morning, spend the night at a hotel along the way, and arrive Sunday afternoon. We will return to Stuart Saturday July 1.
