Disaster Relief Training
Florida Baptist Disaster Relief creates an opportunity for you and your church to "make a difference" in times of need where people and communities impacted by disaster are responded to with Help, Healing, and Hope, through the love of Christ.
Not at all. Disaster Relief has eight ministry areas including feeding ministry, clean-up & recovery, chaplaincy, temporary childcare, on-site management, administration, logistics, and communications & technology.
Disaster Relief Training is a way for you and your church to be prepared to help others in their most desperate hour. The training will vary from how to make food in bulk, to learning about chaplaincy, to learning what technology DR uses in time of need, to learning how to work a chainsaw and remove fallen trees. Training ensures volunteers are properly educated on what to expect as they go out to minister to disaster survivors.
